I haven’t bought anything in a WHILE and I’ve had a lot on my mind lately, so I thought that I deserved a little retail therapy yesterday! I actually had a fairly long list or things I have been meaning to buy, and pretty much I couldn’t find any of it. Womp womp. But I did score a few other things and spent way too much at Target, as usual. It’s a little damp outside today (Oh, hi Seattle) so I took pictures inside. I wish I had better lighting in my apartment because these pics don’t do the colors justice, but c’est la vie!
Apparently I’m loving tangerine right now. At Goodwill, I scored this Old Navy cardigan, and the blouse is from Forever21. I also got this adorable patterned midi skirt (I’ll need to have it taken in a bit, but it was too cute and too good a deal to pass up!) and woven yellow belt at Goodwill.
This Sonia Kashuk travel bag was a last minute splurge at Target. It caught my eye immediately, LOVE the pattern and the mint color. I figured it was a good size for a carry on bag next time I go on a plane (not sure when that will be, but someday, right?). It put my total a little bit over what I had intended to spend that day, but… Happy Birthday to me (in a week).
Two pairs of shoes from Payless. I was wanting a new pair of black flats and the gray boat shoes (?) just seemed like they would be good for casual wear this summer since all I own are boots and ballet flats and low heels. I wore them today and they were pretty comfy… especially with my custom orthotics inside, ahem.
Geometric/tribal-esque pendant necklace and hair bows from Forever21, because… hey, why not? Gotta love Forever21′s super affordable accessories.
Annnnnnd my little birthday month treat from Sephora! This year it’s a Fresh Sugar lip treatment duo. I was pretty excited about this, because I own a full size one in Honey that I loooove and use almost every day! (it wasn’t in my favorite makeup products post, but it should have been!). The two in the Birthday treat were Rose and the untinted one, so now I have three! They make your lips feel super soft and conditioned and the tinted ones just add a little hint of color. Love.
So, that’s about it. I got some other things that I didn’t think were worth photographing (Luna bars? A slip? Pasta sauce? Yeah, no.) I definitely need to take pics of the amazing Shabby Apple dress that I got the other day, but I think I want to wait until I get it taken in a bit (it fits me a bit oddly, like everything else) and do an outfit post! :)
I always have that problem with clothing. I am always in between sizes and nothing ever quite fits right. I am always shocked when something does! LOVE the travel bag! Not only because it is cute but it hits at the possibility of “traveling” in your future?! Haha Great find Doll!

I wish I was handier with a sewing machine because I would just adjust everything to fit me, but I don’t trust myself. I was thinking of taking a bunch of stuff in for alterations but I’m soooo lazy. I hope there is traveling in my future!
Birthdays are such a great time to justify any shopping purchases! “It’s my birthday!” haha it’s actually my birthday today and I did some shopping myself previously…and it just so happened that both packages arrived today, right on time!

Wow, I LOVE that bag! I’ve seen it a bunch of times in a smaller version at Target (a makeup bag I think) and I always swoon. The pattern and colors are amazing! I hope I can find it at my Target because I think I can justify that purchase more than a millionth makeup bag!
