As I write this, it’s snowing outside right now. The news is saying this could be one of the worst snow storms that the Seattle area has had in the last 40 years. I’m sitting inside, wrapped in my pink fuzzy blanket and looking forward to warmer days and being able to wear flats and heels and cute little spring dresses. I’ve been online “window shopping” for hours… days. Here are a few of the spring dresses that I’m eyeing for the much-anticipated coming season.

Rally The Loops Dress from ModCloth. I love the length and color of this dress. The neckline is adorable, and the piping detail to match! I’m totally in love with the vintage cut.
In Love, Indeed Dress from ModCloth. The little heart print on this one is so cute!

Orange Circle Dress from Dorothy Perkins
Navy 2 in 1 Shift Dress from Miss Selfridge. This color blocking is so nice. I’ve been wanting something with a peter pan collar, and I think this would be a perfect one for someone with a larger chest like me; the keyhole opening and buttons will draw the eye down, making the bust seem higher so that the low-riding boobs/ski slope effect that normally happen with a high collar and large bust can be avoided.

Green Collar Skater Dress from Miss Selfridge. Here is another fit & flare shape with an interesting collar, and a color that is bold, but not blindingly bright.
Black Bow Neck Detail Dress from Dorothy Perkins

Fair and Lemon Square Dress from ModCloth. Such an adorable retro style. I love the collar and matching oversized buttons.
Bloom Moon Dress from ModCloth. What is spring without a floral print? The pleated front and waistband would make for a flattering fit, and I think the shape of the neckline adds some interest too.
Are you still loving the 30-layer outfits of the winter, or are you ready for a teensy bit of sunshine too? Have you started your spring wardrobe planning yet? Comment below and let me know what you’re loving! I’m so ready to pack up my boots and coats!

Love love love the green dress. I would wear it in green and almost any other color it comes in.
The Rally The Loops Dress from ModCloth is cute & I would try it but it’s fit looks less forgiving so I would probably not be able to wear it.
I grew up in the 70s and all these dresses feel oddly familiar to me. lol :D
I think they carry some other colors too! Or very similar styles in different colors. As far as ModCloth goes, they are really good about their returns. i recently bought something from them that looked really pretty on the website, but when I tried it on, I felt frumpy. All you have to do is print off a return shipping label and stick it on the box and send it back if you don’t like it! They pay for the return shipping and everything. I was pretty happy about that.
I cannot find that orange dress anywhere on Dorothy Perkins! Do you have a direct link?!
Sorry it took me so long to respond to this, I looked it up on the Dorothy Perkins website and found it here:http://us.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=34072&storeId=13065&productId=2806505&langId=-1&categoryId=&parent_category_rn=&searchTerm=Orange%20circle%20dress&resultCount=1
And good news, it’s marked down to $35 now!
