I have had kind of a rough week, so I didn’t feel that I had much to post about this Thursday; I kind of feel like it would be much easier to write a “Things I Loathe Thursday” list in my current state of mind. However, I guess that’s all the more reason to try and remember what things I did enjoy about the week. So here goes:
♥ This awesome photo that my friend Alex posted on my Facebook wall with the caption “Michael Jackson stole it!” I keep randomly thinking about this photo and laughing.
♥ Found my copy of Morrissey’s Bona Drag
♥ Went through a lot of Toothpaste For Dinner‘s archived comics and this one particularly struck my fancy.
♥ Reminiscing about things like Geocities, 28.8k modems, MIDI files and saying a/s/l?
♥ This music video for Backstabber by the Dresden Dolls, a.k.a. Dresden Dolls vs. Panic! At The Disco. I find it hilarious, and I think it explains why I included ponies in my Amanda Palmer costume this past Halloween…
This very short vlog by Jeffery Self, which made me laugh and also want coffee.
♥ Watched A Clockwork Orange for the fifty-billionth time. “How art thou, thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip oil? come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!”
♥ Made vegan cupcakes from scratch for the first time! And they were actually pretty good! And they rose to the correct consistency for the first time ever! (I guess the secret is more baking powder…)
♥ Demetri Martin‘s ideas on how to ask a woman to marry you. My favorite: you break her finger and have the doctor put the ring in the cast, then when she takes the cast off you say, “Surprise, bitch! We’ve already been engaged for three weeks!”
♥ This adorable hedgehog picture which Molly sent me. Waaaaant! (Click it so you ca see the animation!)
♥ Pizza at Pagliacci in the very best of company. I haven’t had that in forever!
♥ And last but certainly not least…. I skyped with my bff Rora for 2 hours. I miss her so!

Yes, yes! I’ve been reminiscing recently about old-school internet things too! I have fond memories of those times.
Haha I kind of wish I had a time machine. Things were so much simpler when life was all about AOL chat and basic HTML.
